Tian'anmen Square

One of the largest city central squares in the world, located at the heart of Beijing. It has witnessed numerous significant historical events and national celebrations, embodying profound historical, cultural, and political significance.

Palace Museum (The Forbidden City)

Formerly known as the Forbidden City, this imperial palace of the Ming and Qing dynasties stands at the center of Beijing's central axis. It is one of the largest and best-preserved ancient wooden architectural complexes in the world. With its red walls, yellow tiles, and splendid decorations, the palace features a rigorous layout and countless cultural relics, showcasing the majesty and luxury of ancient imperial life.

The Temple of Heaven Park

It served as the venue for the emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to hold heaven-worshipping, grain-praying, and rain-praying ceremonies during the Winter Solstice, and is the largest existing ancient sacrificial architectural complex in China. First built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420), it was initially called the Temple of Heaven and Earth. After the functions of worshipping heaven and earth were separated in the 9th year of the Jiajing reign (1530), it was renamed the Temple of Heaven. The Temple of Heaven consists of an inner altar and an outer altar, with main buildings concentrated in the inner altar, such as the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests, the Imperial Vault of Heaven, and the Circular Mound. With its unique architectural style and profound cultural connotations, it was recognized as a World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1998.

Itinerary:  Mutianyu Great Wall - Ming Tombs (Dingling Tomb) - Beijing Olympic Park - Nest/Water Cube (exterior)

Head to the Mutianyu Great Wall ★, which was first built in the 2nd year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty. With a total length of 5,400 meters, it is one of the best-preserved and longest sections of the existing Ming Dynasty Great Wall. Visit the Dingling Tomb ★, one of the three largest mausoleums in the Ming Tombs of the Ming Dynasty. Stroll along the 2,400-meter-long and 160-meter-wide landscape avenue in Beijing Olympic Park, currently the longest landscape avenue in Asia. Admire the exterior of the Olympic venues, Bird's Nest and Water Cube.

Mutianyu Great Wall

First built in the 2nd year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1404), it was supervised and constructed by Xu Da, a senior general under Zhu Yuanzhang, on the site of the Northern Qi Dynasty Great Wall. Stretching 5,400 meters, the Mutianyu Great Wall is one of the best-preserved and longest sections of the existing Ming Dynasty Great Wall.

Ming Tombs - Dingling Tomb
It is the joint burial tomb of Zhu Yijun (the Shenzong Emperor), the 13th emperor of the Ming Dynasty, and his empresses Xiaoduan and Xiaojing. Construction began in the 12th year of the Wanli reign (1584) and took 6 years to complete, making it one of the three largest mausoleums in the Ming Tombs. Facing southeast with its back to the northwest, Dingling covers an area of about 180,000 square meters. The overall layout of its above-ground buildings features a front-square and back-circular design, symbolizing the ancient Chinese concept of "Heaven is Round and Earth is Square". In 2000, as an important part of the Ming Tombs, Dingling was inscribed on the World Heritage List.

Beijing Olympic Park

This vibrant and modern area features lush greenery and clear lakes, perfectly integrating natural scenery with modern architecture. It fully embodies the concepts of "technology, greenness, and humanity".

Exterior View of Bird's Nest/Water Cube

The National Stadium "Bird's Nest" resembles a huge steel bird's nest, stunning people with its unique shape and grand scale. As the main stadium of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, it witnessed countless glorious moments of athletes and is now a popular place for visitors to feel the Olympic atmosphere. Next to it, the National Aquatics Center "Water Cube" features a crystal-clear blue exterior, resembling a giant blue ice cube or a dreamlike water world.

Itinerary: The Summer Palace - Yonghegong Lama Temple - Shichahai Hutong Rickshaw  (Experience) - Acrobatic Show / Peking Opera Performance

Visit the Summer Palace ★, the most beautiful imperial garden in the world; explore Yonghegong Lama Temple ★, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Beijing; experience the rich traditional Beijing urban culture through Shichahai Hutong Rickshaw ★; and enjoy the Chinese Acrobatic Show ★.

The Summer Palace

Located in the northwestern suburbs of Beijing, covering an area of 3.009 square kilometers, the Summer Palace was formerly known as Qingyi Garden. It was first built in the 15th year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1750) as a large natural landscape garden. Burned down by the Anglo-French Allied Forces in 1860, it was reconstructed in 1886 with funds misappropriated from the navy by the Qing government and renamed the Summer Palace two years later. Using Kunming Lake and Longevity Hill as the site, and taking the scenery of the West Lake in Hangzhou as a blueprint, it was built by absorbing some design techniques and artistic conceptions of Jiangnan gardens. It is the best-preserved imperial palace garden, known as the "Museum of Imperial Gardens".

Yonghe Lama Temple

Once the residence of Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, this royal monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism hides thousand-year-old Zen meaning in its seven courtyards amid yellow tiles and red walls. The bronze statue of Zongkapa in the Falun Hall, the 18-meter-high white sandalwood Maitreya Buddha in Wanfu Pavilion, and the "Three Wonders of Woodcarving" (the Five Hundred Arhats Mountain) tell stories of the integration of Han, Tibetan, and Mongolian cultures. As a sacred site for believers to pray and the historical birthplace of Emperor Qianlong, the temple remains steeped in daily life with the "first incense grabbing" on the first day of the lunar month and porridge distribution on Laba Festival.

Shichahai Hutong Rickshaw

Shichahai is home to numerous ancient buildings and historical sites, with surrounding hutongs and siheyuans (quadrangle dwellings) arranged in an orderly manner, exuding the charm of old Beijing. Traveling by tricycle is an excellent choice to experience Beijing's traditional culture and folk customs.

Chinese Acrobatic Show

Interpreting "shock, danger, wonder, and beauty" amid sonorous drums and music—intangible cultural heritage skills collide with modern choreography to create a stunning spectacle.
