Today you will go to the airport to check in for your flight to Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka. Due to the time difference, it is recommended to confirm the local time and depart 1 day in advance, the exact time is subject to the arrival time, please choose an early flight to arrive. You will be spending the night on the plane, which may be cold, so it is recommended that you bring warm clothing. We wish you a good night's rest.


Day 2

Colombo—Negombo

Upon arrival in Colombo, the guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to hotel in Negombo for check-in, followed by free time.

Recommended Sights: St. Mary's Church and Negombo Fish Market.

At Negombo Fish Market you can see the life of local fishermen, watch them catching and sunning fish, feel their unchanged way of earning a living for hundreds of years and enjoy a different kind of market style. St. Mary's Church in the center of town has a slightly faded pink prayer house and a reverent religious mural on the ceiling of the nave.

Day 3

Negombo—Dambulla—Sigiriya

Itinerary:

After breakfast at the hotel, drive (approx. 90 km, about 2 hours and 40 minutes) to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, a World Heritage Site in Sri Lanka, which was built in the 1st and 2nd centuries AD on a huge rocky hill and is a pilgrimage site for Sri Lankan Buddhists. The cave consists of five sanctuaries and is the largest and best preserved cave temple in Sri Lanka. There are 2,100 square meters of murals and 157 statues in the caves, which are of great religious art value and show the charm of Buddhist art.

In the afternoon we visit Sigiriya in Siglia, one of Sri Lanka's eight World Heritage Sites, a palace built on a giant rock and a national treasure of Sri Lanka. Climb up to Sigiriya and look into the distance as if you can travel back thousands of years, feel the perspective of Prince Cassiarber and imagine what this palace once looked like in grandeur.

Day 4

Sigiriya—Kandy

After breakfast, drive to the holy city of Kandy (about 2.5 hours), built in the 14th century, located in the center of southern Sri Lanka, long surrounded by mountains where rare plant species grow. Located in the tropical growth zone, it was historically an administrative and religious center. Visit Kandy Lake, Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of Buddha's Tooth), watch the traditional Sri Lankan performance: Kandy dance.

Kandy Lake is located next to the Temple of Buddha's Tooth and is lined with tropical flowers and trees that form a natural pergola and a flat avenue around the lake. Sri Dalada Maligawa (Temple of Buddha's Tooth) is Sri Lanka's most important Buddhist temple dedicated to the relics of Siddhartha Gautama (Buddha's Tooth) and one of the few Buddhist temples in the world dedicated to the relics of Siddhartha Gautama. Since 1979, Sri Lanka has organized a grand Tooth of Buddha Festival in Kandy every July and August, which has become one of the most influential Buddhist festivals in Asia.

Kandy Dance is the most representative of the traditional dance of the Sinhalese in Sri Lanka, is one of the cultural symbols of the Sinhalese, originated in the ancient Kingdom of Kandy under the jurisdiction of the central mountainous region, so it is also known as the Highland Dance.

Day 5

Kandy—Colombo—Negombo

After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Colombo, a coastal city in Sri Lanka (about 3.5 hours). Go to [Colombo City], there are beautiful coastal scenery and different styles of urban architecture; there are cheerful and wild percussion, and there are also devout religious believers; there are towering skyscrapers and resplendent temples. ...... Here we will enjoy the exotic atmosphere of the fusion of the eastern world and western architectural styles, and visit the exterior of Colombo National Museum, Merdeka Square and Memorial, Red Mosque, Colombo City Hall, Bandaranaike International Conference Building, etc.

Then proceed to Negombo Hotel for check-in.

What's Not Included

1.Round-trip international air tickets and visa fees (Sri Lanka currently implements a visa-free policy);

2.Peak season surcharge: During the period from December 15 to January 10, an additional $100/person is required. The hotel surcharges for Christmas and New Year will be based on the actual calculation.

3.Tips for driver and guide: $12/person/day, total $ 60/person.

4.Meals and personal expenses not included in the itinerary (including but not limited to personal expenses such as laundry, hairdressing, telephone, fax, pay TV, drinks, tobacco and alcohol at the hotel).

5. Self-paid activities in the itinerary and attraction tickets not specified in the schedule

2. We reserve the right to make necessary adjustments to the itinerary, or apply additional charges due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to airline schedules, visa requirements, government policies, and weather conditions.

3.The flight numbers and times provided in the itinerary are indicative and may undergo reasonable adjustments during actual implementation.

Travel Information

Meeting & Departure:

Please ensure you arrive at the boarding location 15 minutes before the scheduled departure. The bus will depart on time without waiting. Arriving late will be considered a cancellation, and fees are non-refundable.

The boarding and disembarking times indicated are estimates, and the final locations are subject to our confirmation. Any changes due to traffic or other special circumstances will be communicated promptly. Please be patient.

Luggage & Vehicle:

We operate various types of vehicles, including buses, mid-sized buses, and 9-seater minibuses. While large buses have luggage racks, mid-sized and minibuses have limited space. We recommend carrying only essential luggage to ensure one seat per person.

Please note that in European cities, bus stops are often situated a distance from attractions to avoid penalty. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

Bus Safety Tips:

1. No smoking on the bus.

2. Prohibited items are strictly forbidden.

3. Avoid touching vehicle items to prevent damage.

4. During stops, please adhere to the guide's instructions and stay close by.

5. When disembarking, ensure windows are closed and valuables are with you. The travel agency is not liable for any lost or stolen items.

6. If a vehicle breakdown occurs during the tour, affecting the itinerary, the travel agency will take swift remedial action. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Refunds and Changes Policy

Trip Cancellation Policy

ü Full Refund: Cancel your trip 60 or more days before departure and receive a full refund.

ü Processing Fee Refund: Cancel between 30 and 59 days before departure, and a 10% administration fee will apply.

ü Partial Refund: Cancel between 18 and 29 days before departure, and 50% of the total order amount will be charged.

ü Non-Refundable: Cancellations made within 17 days of departure are non-refundable due to confirmed vehicle and hotel bookings, but a friend can be substituted in your place.

Additional Notes

ü The cancellation policy does not cover tours that include airfare and cruises, as they are governed by the respective airline and cruise line policies.

ü Failure to arrive on the departure day will be considered a voluntary cancellation, and no refunds will be issued.

ü Refund policies for additional hotel bookings or services are subject to the individual hotel's policies.

ü Personal reasons such as incomplete documents, visa issues, late arrival, illness, or accidents resulting in cancellation or failure to participate in the trip will not be refunded or compensated with alternative services.

Handling of Special Circumstances

In cases where the trip cannot proceed due to force majeure events like weather, war, or strikes, our company prioritizes guest safety and has the right to cancel or modify part or all of the trip. We assume no direct or indirect responsibility for such events, and any paid fees are non-refundable.

Explanation of Additional Charges

Ø If the airline alters its fares due to policy changes, you will be required to pay the difference in accordance with the airline's regulations. Please note that group tickets are not eligible for changes, exchanges, or refunds.

Ø Should the policy adjustments of the destination country result in additional costs for items not included in the itinerary or related services, the price difference must be settled in accordance with the applicable regulations.
