Today you will fly to Guiyang, the capital of Guizhou Province, where there are four distinct seasons, no severe cold in winter and no heat in summer, and was named China's summer capital in 2007, with high forest coverage and abundant rainfall, making it a paradise for summer holidays.

Upon arrival, we will visit Jiaxiulou, (This itinerary will be arranged based on the arrival flight.) located on the Nanming River, is the emblem and landmark of Guiyang, which was built during the Wanli reign of the Ming Dynasty. At nightfall, the night view of the building is more charming and colourful.

After breakfast, we'll depart for Huangguoshu, a 5A scenic spot in Anshun.

【Doupotang Waterfall】(the filming location for the ending theme song of the 1983 version of Journey to the West) sits 1km upstream from Huangguoshu Waterfall. It is a natural dam-type waterfall, 21 meters high and 105 meters wide. During the rainy season, the waterfall roars like a steam whistle, earning it the nickname "Roaring Waterfall". Afterwards, we will visit the upper section of 【Tianxingqiao】, where dense stalagmites and lush vegetation create a stunning integration of mountains, water, forests, and caves—often praised by visitors as a "vast potted landscape carved by wind and water".

Next, we will head to【Huangguoshu Waterfall】. With a total height of 77.8 meters (67 meters for the main waterfall) and a width of 101 meters, it is China’s largest waterfall and one of the world’s most renowned, famous for its mighty flow. As a typical erosion-fracture 

waterfall in karst terrain, it boasts magnificent grandeur. Centered around Huangguoshu Waterfall, there are 18 smaller and larger waterfalls with distinct styles—majestic, magical, perilous, and elegant—forming a massive waterfall cluster. It has been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the largest waterfall group in the world.

After breakfast, go to the emerald on the earth - Libo Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, 5A level

scenic spot ( about 3 hours). Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, also called Seven Small Arches Scenic Area, is located in Libo County, Guizhou Province. Spanning 7 kilometers, its name comes from a seven - arch stone bridge that gracefully spans the Xiangshui River. This area seamlessly integrates mountains, water, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls, creating a picturesque and tranquil landscape. Enriched by the vibrant culture of the Yao ethnic minority, Xiaoqikong has become a prominent tourist destination in the Qiannan Autonomous Prefecture.

Wolong Pool, a deep - green water pool and waterfall formed by a dam, is part of Xiaoqikong Scenic Area. When boarding the boat into the beautiful Yuanyang Lake, you'll find that the water has various colors, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. Admire the spectacular Laya Waterfall and 68-stage waterfall.

Located in Libo City, Guizhou Province, Daqikong Scenic Area (Big Seven Arches Scenic Area) is a natural wonderland featuring pristine forests, deep gorges, underground rivers, and subterranean lakes. Its name, meaning “Grand Seven Arch Bridge,” stems from the majestic bridge spanning the Mengtang River. The highlights of Daqikong primarily include the karst canyons and natural bridges. Tiansheng Bridge, also known as the Bridge of the Immortals, is hailed by experts as 'the Eastern Arc de Triomphe shaped by nature's power'.

After breakfast, we will go to Tang'an Rice Terraces, located in the northeast of Tang'an Township, Congjiang County, Guizhou Province, is one of the prettiest terraces in China. In Tang'an, the picturesque natural scenery of the rice terraces blends with the peaceful and unique wooden Miao houses. Tang'an Rice Terraces were cut from the hillside, with hundreds of layers. You can appreciate mirror-like terraces in spring, verdant terraces in summer, and gold terraces in autumn. Tang'an Rice Terraces have mysterious scenery almost every morning thanks to the wet weather. 

Upon arriving at Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, first, enjoy the panoramic view of the village and admire the architecture of the Miao stilt houses. Visit the Miao Museum to learn more about the history and culture of the Miao people. Appreciate the night view of Xijiang Thousand - Households Miao Village. When night falls, millions of lights are lit up, creating a very spectacular scene.

At the designated time and place, participate in the Miao Long Table Banquet, also called the 'High Mountains and Flowing Water Long Table Banquet'. In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful, mist - covered morning scenery. Visit the original ethnic architecture, stilt houses, and Miao village terraces. Wander deep into the Miao village, going from house to house to understand the Miao people's life and customs. Xijiang Miao Village, with more than 1,250 households and 5,600 people, is the largest Miao village in China and is known as 'Thousands of Miao Villages'. Climb up to the Observation Deck, located on the hilltop opposite Xijiang Thousand - Households Miao Village, to enjoy the panoramic view of the village during the day. It's an excellent spot for appreciating the Miao village. Standing on the Observation Deck, you can enjoy the magnificent view of the whole Xijiang Thousand Households Miao Village.

[Miao Costume - dressing Experience] You can put on beautiful Miao costumes to take photos and create a wonderful and unforgettable memory. Then, at the designated time, participate in the [Making Glutinous Rice Cake] activity with the local people, experience the joy of 'doing it yourself', and receive a free glutinous rice patty cake as a reward for your labor. Take bus to Zhenyuan Ancient Town, a famous historical and cultural city in China and a 5A - level scenic spot. Since ancient times, Zhenyuan has been the main landing point for the Chu people of Yelang. It was also a shortcut and a necessary stop for the capital to send gifts and messengers to and from the southwest border, as well as countries like Annam, Burma, Siam, and India.

After breakfast, visit Fanjing Mountain, a unique landmark in Guizhou. Cloud waterfalls, Zen fog, phantoms, and Buddha's light - these four major celestial wonders add a mysterious touch to Fanjing Mountain. It is the combination of Buddhist monasteries and nature reserves in China. Together with Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, Putuo Mountain in Zhejiang, Emei Mountain in Sichuan, and Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui, it ranks among the five most famous Buddhist mountains in China and is the renowned monastery of Maitreya Bodhisattva. Afterwards, we'll take a bus back to Guiyang and check into a hotel to rest.

After breakfast, visit Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the most famous historical and cultural towns in Guizhou Province. Dating back to the beginning of the Ming Dynasty (1368 - 1644), Qingyan Ancient Town was built for military purposes. Due to its geographical location, Zhu Yuanzhang, the first emperor of the Ming Dynasty, established it as a station for transferring military messages and housing a standing army. Religious culture here is also quite rich, including Buddhism, Taoism, Catholicism, and Christianity. 

Huaxi Yelang Valley is located in Huaxi District, Guiyang, adjacent to several universities. It is a stone art kingdom created by Song Peilun, an artist who has lived in the United States, after more than 20 years of effort. Featuring over 300 karst stone totems and stone carvings with Nuo culture elements, the valley is traversed by the Siya River. The integration of nature and humanity brings out the mysterious atmosphere of ancient Yelang, making it a national AAA tourist attraction.

Guizhou Museum is mainly divided into three categories: prehistoric cultural relic specimens, historical cultural relics, and ethnic cultural relics. In the museum, visitors can not only see prehistoric relic specimens such as fossils of Guizhouosaurus, sea dragons, ichthyosaurs, and crinoids, but also ancient precious cultural relics unearthed in the province, including bronze chariots and horses, large bronze cauldrons with standing tiger patterns and braided ears, stone-carved mountain bronze drums, golden crowns of the Ming Dynasty, and colored glazed pottery figurine teams.

Itinerary: Dali Ancient Town- Gantong Cableway- Dukezong Ancient City

After breakfast, visit Dali Ancient Town, one of Yunnan's most popular tourist destinations. It was the political, economic and cultural center of Yunnan during the more than 500 - year period of the Tang and Song Dynasties. It faces Erhai Lake to the east and Cangshan Mountain to the west. Dali Ancient Town has historical sites, medieval buildings, temples, and streets lined with shops, restaurants, bars, and hotels. It is a great place to explore. There are 14 key cultural relics protection units above the municipal level in the ancient city, carrying the historical, religious, and ethnic cultures of Dali.

After that, take the Gantong Cableway. As you cross Cangshan Mountain, you can overlook Erhai Lake. The Gantong Cableway is located at the foot of Shengying Peak in Cangshan Mountain, adjacent to the famous Buddhist holy places of Shanzhao Nunnery and Gantong Temple, with a total length of 2,630 meters.

After lunch, drive to Shangri-La to visit Dukezong Ancient City. It was an important hub on the Tea Horse Ancient Road and has a history of over 1300 years. The ancient city is centered around Dagui Mountain and extends radially, covering an area of approximately 1.5 square kilometers. The name of Dukezong Ancient City means "Moonlight City" in Tibetan, symbolizing mystery and beauty.

Shangri-La- 170km/2h Lijiang

Itinerary: Songzamlin Temple- Tiger Leaping Gorge

Get up early to visit the Songzamlin Temple, a Tibetan Buddhist temple in Yunnan, built on a mountain, similar in appearance to the Potala Palace, with its unique five-storey Tibetan-style carved architecture, also known as the ‘Museum of Tibetan Art’. We will enter this white palace, feel the Tibetan Buddhism sacred.

Afterwards, take a car to Lijiang and visit one of the world's top ten canyons, Tiger Leaping Gorge. Tiger Leaping Gorge is a ten thousand mile long Yangtze River Grand Canyon, named after the legend of the tiger leaping over the river and crossing the stone between Haba and Yulong Snow Mountain. Stay at the hotel and rest.

After breakfast, drive to Lugu Lake, known as the ‘Pearl of the Plateau’, take a Mosuo Pig-trough boat to board Ribee Island, visit Ribee Monastery, located in the south-central part of Lugu Lake, where a winding path leads directly to the top of the island, with many rhododendrons and wild cherry trees beside the path. At the end of the trail is the Tibetan Buddhist Ribee Monastery, with a white pagoda at the top of the island. Rimubi Island, together with Xiehua Island and Rig Island, are known as the three Penglai Islands of Lugu Lake. 

Then participate in the Mosuo wedding banquet and Mosuo bonfire party, specially arranged for you, visit the original Mosuo family, and taste the Mosuo special ethnic meal. Lugu Lake is a ‘Kingdom of Women’ , the Mosuo ,as the Last Matriarchy in China, people are good at singing and dancing. In the Mosuo village on the shore of Lugu Lake, a bonfire party is held every night, and you can dance happily around the bonfire with the handsome Mosuo boy and the beautiful Mosuo girl! Grass Sea is an important part of Lugu Lake. In summer, the water plants are lush and waterfowls play; in autumn and winter, the yellowish scenery has a unique charm.

Lovers’Beach, this lakeside beach has become a popular check-in spot due to its romantic name and beautiful scenery. Clear lake water laps against the pebbles on the shore, and the sun shines on the lake, making it glisten with ripples.

After breakfast, take a bus to visit the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain scenic area. Take the special environmental - friendly bus of the snow mountain to the boarding point of the Glacier Great Cableway and reach the Glacier Park. Take the cableway to the viewing area at an altitude of 4,506 meters. Guests can climb to 4,680 meters according to their physical condition and enjoy the magnificent view of having all mountains beneath their feet.

The Stone Forest has the most unique karst landform in the world due to its long history, large scale, and rich categories. It’s reputed as First Wonder under the Heaven and enjoys a high reputation in world geography circles. Stone Forest started the formation from about 270 million years ago, and after a long period of geological evolution and complex paleogeography and environment evolution, the precious geological relics had finally been formed. The whole scenic area is very large, about 1,100 square kilometers, including various scenes: stone forests, karst caves, waterfalls, underground rivers, etc. Besides the natural scenery, Stone Forest also attracts numerous tourists for its featured Yi ethnic culture, and the most famous one is the legend of Ashima, which represents the image of Stone Forest.

Important Notice: 

The driver-cum-guide's standard working hours are 10 hours. Any overtime, excluding delays caused by traffic or vehicle issues, will be subject to additional charges. This  primarily applies to delays stemming from personal behavior or extended use of the vehicle and guide services after the daily itinerary has been completed.

Booking Guidelines

1. The sequence of the itinerary, attractions, flights, and accommodation locations may be subject to temporary changes, modifications, or substitutions. The final itinerary will be confirmed by our company before departure.

2. Our company reserves the right to modify the itinerary and add additional charges due to factors such as airlines, visa issues, government regulations, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

3. The flight numbers and times listed in the itinerary are for reference only and may be reasonably adjusted according to actual conditions.

Travel Instructions

① All participants in the tour group must assemble and depart on time. Please arrive at the pick-up location 15 minutes in advance. Our company's tour bus will not wait for latecomers. If you fail to join the group at the agreed time and location, or are unable to catch up en route, it will be considered as an automatic waiver of the trip, and no refunds will be given.

② The pick-up and drop-off times indicated in the tour notification are estimated. The specific locations for boarding and alighting will be confirmed by our company. (In case of traffic conditions or other special circumstances that prevent our bus from arriving at the pick-up location on time or if there is a temporary change in schedule, our company will notify you promptly. Please wait patiently.)

③ There are three types of buses: large buses, minibuses, and 9-seater vans. Generally, large buses have dedicated luggage compartments for storing baggage, while minibuses and 9-seater vans have relatively smaller spaces for luggage storage. Given the limited space in the bus compartments, we recommend that you travel with as little luggage as possible. Our company will arrange the appropriate vehicle based on the final group size to ensure that each person has a seat.

④ To avoid excessive congestion at tourist attractions, in most cities, the parking spots for tour buses are located farther away from the attractions. Drivers are not allowed to park indiscriminately, as violations will result in hefty fines. Therefore, the boarding and alighting locations may be a certain distance from the attractions. We ask for the understanding of all group members.

Safety Tips for Traveling by Tour Bus:

① Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the bus.

② Do not carry any prohibited items.

③ Do not tamper with any objects on the bus to avoid unnecessary damage.

④ During temporary stops, please follow the arrangements of the tour guide and do not wander off.

⑤ When getting off the bus for sightseeing, dining, or shopping, please make sure to close the bus windows and take your valuables with you. The travel agency will not be responsible for any loss or theft.

⑥ Given the long travel time and heavy load on the vehicle, if the bus breaks down and affects the itinerary, the travel agency will take prompt remedial measures. Please cooperate fully.

Cancellation and Amendment Policy

Cancellation Terms:

(1) If canceled more than 60 days before departure (including the 60th day), a full refund will be given.

(2) If canceled between 30 to 59 days before departure (including the 30th day), a 10% service charge will be deducted.

(3) If canceled between 18 to 29 days before departure (including the 18th day), 50% of the total amount due on the booking will be charged.

(4) If canceled within 17 days before departure (including the 17th day), all vehicle and hotel reservations have been fully confirmed, and no refund will be given. However, a friend may be substituted to join the tour.

Notes:

(1) The cancellation policy does not apply to packages that include flights and cruises (subject to the policies of the airlines and cruise companies).

(2) If a participant fails to join the tour on the departure date, it will be considered as an automatic waiver, and no refund will be given.

(3) Any additional hotel bookings or services will be subject to the hotel's refund policy.

(4) If your company or the participant withdraws from the tour or fails to join any part of the itinerary due to personal reasons (such as lack of travel documents, visa issues, tardiness, illness, accidents, etc.), no refund will be given, and no alternative compensation will be provided.

Force Majeure Situations:

In the event that travel is disrupted due to weather, war, strikes, or other force majeure factors, our company will prioritize the safety of the guests' person and property. We reserve the right to cancel or adjust part or all of the itinerary. We will not be liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from force majeure, and no refunds will be given for the tour fees already paid.

Additional Payment Information:

(1) If there is a policy change by the airline that affects the ticket price, the difference must be paid according to the regulations. If the ticket is a group fare, it cannot be changed, transferred, or refunded.

(2) If there is a policy change in the destination country that affects the costs of items not included in the itinerary or other related expenses, the difference must be paid according to the regulations.
