Itinerary:

Itinerary: West Lake (including a boat tour) - Lingyin Temple - Leifeng Tower

After breakfast at the hotel, we will head to the West Lake Scenic Area. Slow down your pace, savor carefully, and feel the gentle and calm charm that has spanned thousands of years. After lunch, we will go to Lingyin Temple to start a journey to a pure land of the soul. This thousand-year-old ancient temple carries profound history and culture. Subsequently, we will arrive at Leifeng Tower to explore the thousand-year-old relics related to the legend of the White Snake. First built during the Northern Song Dynasty, it is not only the site of "Leifeng Pagoda at Sunset" — one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake, but also a witness to the love story between the White Snake (Bai Suzhen) and Xu Xian in The Legend of the White Snake.

West Lake Scenic Area (Hangzhou)

It is currently the only lake landscape inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. West Lake's beauty lies in its shimmering waters and mist-clad mountains, transforming enchantingly through the four seasons. Beyond its natural splendor, it embodies profound cultural heritage and historical significance.

Lingyin Temple

One of China’s most renowned and influential Buddhist temples, nestled at the foothills of Lingyin Mountain north of West Lake. Enter its halls to feel the solemnity and serenity of this 1,700-year-old sanctuary; admire exquisite ancient grotto sculptures; immerse in the poetic tranquility of "an ancient temple hidden in deep mountains"; discover Zen Buddhist culture and legends like Jigong; and experience its profound spiritual ambiance.

Leifeng Tower

First built during the Northern Song Dynasty, it endured wars, natural disasters, and human destruction before collapsing in 1924. The reconstructed tower—a majestic five-sided, eight-story structure—stands against mountains and overlooks the lake. Inside, the ground floor preserves the original ruins. Ascend via elevator to discover unique cultural exhibits on each level: a monumental Dongyang wood carving mural depicting the Legend of the White Snake, and a golden rooftop observatory (5th floor) offering panoramic West Lake views. More than architecture, it symbolizes Hangzhou’s historical legacy.

Optional Activity ($55/person): Impression West Lake Show

If West Lake is Hangzhou’s soul, Impression West Lake is the soul's innermost poetry. Directed by Zhang Yimou, this masterpiece uses the night sky as its curtain and the lake as its stage, weaving together millennia of natural grandeur and cultural essence. The performance artfully integrates the love legend of Xu Xian and Lady White Snake.

Stroll along its paths to encounter Huizhou architectural charm at every turn, while savoring an array of authentic Huizhou delicacies.

China Umbrella Museum

The world’s first umbrella-themed museum. Step inside to discover white walls and gray tiles characteristic of Jiangnan aesthetics. Six thematic galleries unfold sequentially, guiding you through the evolution of umbrellas:

"Origin of Chinese Umbrellas" traces the earliest forms of shelter from rain.

"Oil-Paper & Oil-Cloth Umbrellas" showcases exquisite traditional craftsmanship.

"Elegant West Lake Silk Umbrellas" reveals bamboo-framed, silk-covered miniatures.

"Cultural Significance" delves into umbrellas’ symbolic roles throughout history.

"Umbrellas Go Global" explores their cross-cultural journey as universal art.

"Modern Umbrella Diversity" celebrates innovations blending technology and heritage.

Optional Activity ($20/person): Oil-paper Umbrella Making Experience.

An oil-paper umbrella transcends functionality—it embodies a millennia-old cultural legacy. This hands-on workshop immerses you in intangible heritage, revealing the dedication and perseverance of traditional artisans. Upon completing your creation, you take home not merely a self-crafted umbrella, but enduring memories and a cherished connection to cultural preservation.

Tunxi Old Street

Entering Tunxi Old Street feels like stepping into a historical time capsule. This 853-meter-long corridor, structured in a fishbone pattern, weaves through over 300 Huizhou-style buildings—a labyrinth of interlocking alleys. Exquisite wood, brick, and stone carvings adorn gate towers. Century-old shops and intangible cultural heritage stores line the street, offering Huizhou delicacies: Huangshan sesame cakes, fermented tofu, Huizhou ink pastry, fermented mandarin fish, and Wenzheng bamboo shoots—an epicurean journey for your palate.

After breakfast, depart for a "Secret Wonderland Journey" in Xixinan. Traverse four kilometers of lush sycamore forests, akin to stepping into a fairy-tale woodland.  Post-lunch, head to Hongcun Village—renowned as the "Village in a Chinese Painting". Stroll through ancient alleys in traditionalHan Fu, uncovering millennia-old stories whispered by its tiles and walls. Conclude the tour with a transfer to Huangshan Tangkou for overnight stay.

Xixinan Scenic Area

Nestled at the southern foot of Huangshan Mountain along the Fengle River, this millennium-old village resembles a hidden utopia. Well-preserved Ming-Qing architecture bears witness to time's passage and historical legacy. National cultural relics—Old House Pavilion and Green Encircling Pavilion—silently echo past grandeur.

Hongcun Village

Founded in the Northern Song Dynasty (900+ years old), its Hui-style architecture features whitewashed walls, black-tiled roofs, and iconic horse-head gables. Exquisite wood, brick, and stone carvings adorn interiors and exteriors with distinct cultural motifs. Among 137 surviving ancient residences stand Chengzhi Hall (dubbed "Folk Forbidden City"), Peide Hall, Sanli Hall (home of Hui merchants), Lesxu Hall, and the historic Nanhu Academy.

Nanhu Academy

Amidst South Lake's emerald waters, this white-and-black complex stands serene—where Hongcun's scholars once chanted classics. Cradled by lake reflections and mountain hues, it blends Hui architectural elegance with scholarly ambiance into Jiangnan's misty rain, forming the softest brushstroke in Hongcun's ink-wash painting.

Yuezhao Lake

Yuezhao, also called Yuetang by the locals, refers to the "cow's stomach" or "cow's small belly" in folk terms. It is located at the center of the ancient village. This semi-circular pond anchors the ancient village as its central landmark. Encircled by Hui-style architecture with whitewashed walls and black-tiled roofs, its mirror-like waters reflect timeless Huizhou charm. Historically, only Hongcun's wealthiest and most prestigious families resided around Yuezhao Lake.

Chengzhi Hall

Hongcun's "Folk Forbidden City." Once the mansion of salt merchant Wang Dinggui, every carved beam whispers merchant-legends and ingenuity. Each corner narrates Hui traders' sagas—their wealth amassed across China, yet hearts tethered to homeland. Duty to family and zest for life are etched into its very foundations, embodying "one mansion, half of Hui merchant history."

Wang Clan Ancestral Hall

A family's memory vault deep in Hongcun. Behind its weighty doors, the plaque "Filial Piety as Our Code" hangs in the main hall—honoring ancestors and admonishing descendants. Within: pines and cranes promise longevity; magpies on plum blossoms herald joy; entwined vines hint at lineage continuity. Every brick and tile speaks of "roots," offering an eternal harbor for blood ties and nostalgia.
Optional Activity ($10/person): Featured Experience - Hongcun Han Fu Experience (two hours)

Adorn traditionalHan Fu for a millennial rendezvous with Hongcun. As silk sleeves brush against bluestone paths, time folds upon itself. White walls and black tiles frame you; Moon Swamp's ripples mirror fluttering hems. You stand in the painting—and become part of its living ink wash.

Day 6

Transport:
Breakfast:At hotel
Lunch:Not included
Dinner:Not included
Accommodation: Xihai Hotel Huangshan Zone B or similar
Itinerary:

Itinerary:  Huangshan (Shuttle Bus + Yungu Cable Car uphill) - Shixin Peak - Beihai Scenic Area - Qingliang Terrace - Paiyun Pavilion

Its majestic landscapes and profound cultural heritage draw countless travelers. The "Four Wonders" - bizarre pines, grotesque rocks, sea of clouds, and hot springs - define its allure. Pristine mists churn through peaks: at times like raging ocean waves, at others like sheer veils, enveloping mountains in celestial grandeur. Every season unveils unique vistas awaiting discovery.

Shixin Peak

"He who misses Shixin Peak, knows not Huangshan pines." At 1,683 meters, this peak guards Huangshan’s most mesmerizing scenery. Its marvels begin with the pines — seemingly sculpted by nature, tenaciously rooted in crevices. Then unfolds the view: an open summit like a natural observatory, where emerald ridges pierce churning clouds, vanishing and reappearing in ethereal fantasy.

Beihai Scenic Area

Nestled within a "cool oasis" encircled by peaks, Beihai’s soul lies in its cloud seas. Standing cliffside, white clouds surge beneath your feet while pine whispers and winds hum - an ascent to heaven. Its charm resides in pine-and-stone spectacles: the Stone Monkey Watching the Sea perched eternally over clouds; the Stone Brush Blooming with Flowers, where a pine tilts like an ink-laden brush poised to verse the sky. Legendary pines like Black Tiger Pine and Unity Pine dot the forests, each uniquely contorted.

Qingliang Terrace:

Dubbed "Huangshan’s Premier Viewing Platform". Its magic first whispers through "coolness" - summer breezes sweep away heat while elsewhere swelters. Greater wonder awaits in its vistas: this stone ledge juts cliffward, framing panoramic "windows" to Huangshan. Leftward, Shixin Peak’s pine umbrellas unfold; rightward, Lion Peak’s stone monkey crouches; ahead, boundless valleys stretch into infinity.

Paiyun Pavilion

Built in 1935 with granite slabs, this oblong pavilion stands serene at West Sea Gate. Step inside to enter a fantasy realm of grotesque stones - hailed as a "Gallery of Ingenious Stones". Each rock whispers mythical legends, igniting the imagination.

At Yuping Pavilion, admire the iconic Greeting Pine and Farewell Pine in their distinct majesty. Conclude with a transfer to Chun'an County.

The Sunrise at Bright Summit

When dawn’s first light pierces the night sky over Huangshan’s Bright Summit, the mountains awaken. A crimson sun drags free from clouds, leaping above the horizon with primal vitality. Instantly, golden rays cascade—gilding jagged rocks and cloaking churning cloud seas in splendor. In this moment, every moment of waiting becomes rewarding.

Tianhai Scenic Area

Huangshan’s "aerial garden" at 1,700+ meters, where cloud seas are perennial guests. Its magic lies in concealment and revelation—an open plain hides within encircling peaks (Lianhua, Tiandu, Liandan), offering both awe before towering summits and rare tranquility.

Yupinglou Scenic Area

A viewing deck cradled in the palms of cloud seas and legendary pines. Here, the Greeting Pine meets your gaze while the Farewell Pine stands sentinel nearby—Huangshan’s poetic etiquette of welcome and parting. Perched on Wenshu Terrace (1,680m), every window frames majesty. The wonder of Yupinglou is that it is never an isolated landscape; it serves as the backdrop for the Greeting Pine, a frame for Lianhua Peak, and a station where the sea of clouds flows through.

Meifeng Scenic Area

Qiandao Lake's soul resides at Meifeng's heights. Dubbed "The Lake's Prime Viewing Platform", this peak offers unparalleled vistas of "a thousand islands vying in beauty". Emerald isles scatter like jade across the water—larger ones undulating like mountain ranges, smaller ones dainty as hairpin dots—while the lake itself gleams as a colossal jadeite, carved by islands into serpentine contours.

Meifeng Cable Car
Meifeng Island is the premier destination for panoramic views of Qiandao Lake. The cable car offers a 360-degree perspective of the lake and islands, allowing visitors to admire the scattered emerald isles, harmonious blend of water and mountains, and ever-changing vistas from varying heights as the cabin ascends. The cable car provides direct access to the mountaintop viewing platform, making it accessible for all visitors—especially seniors, children, and those with limited mobility—to effortlessly enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Qiandao Lake.

Yule Island

A culinary paradise featuring the "Lake's Number One Cauldron"- a giant iron wok simmering secret-recipe "Dongpo Fish". Numerous buffet restaurants serve diverse local delicacies. The island also hosts Qiandao Lake’s largest aquatic playground, Water World, and its sole Floating Stage for performances.

Longshan Island

Among Qiandao Lake’s myriad isles, Longshan guards its cultural essence. Ascend weathered stone steps from the dock to encounter ancient camphor trees; deep within their shade lies Hai Rui Temple. Travel Instructions

① All participants in the tour group must assemble and depart on time. Please arrive at the pick-up location 15 minutes in advance. Our company's tour bus will not wait for latecomers. If you fail to join the group at the agreed time and location, or are unable to catch up en route, it will be considered as an automatic waiver of the trip, and no refunds will be given.

We ask for the understanding of all group members.

III. Personal Property & Shopping Guidelines

1. Safeguard Belongings: Keep valuables secure. Do not leave items unattended in luggage, buses, or hotel rooms. The agency will assist in reporting thefts but cannot recover losses or compensate for damages.

2. Tax Refunds: Retain tax refund forms. Guides may assist with documentation, but refund approval depends on local policies. The agency cannot guarantee successful refunds.

3. Transaction Fees: Bank charges for card payments are non-refundable. Returned purchases may incur additional fees at your expense.

IV. Important Notice Regarding Luggage for Cross-Border Travel Products

Given that cross-border travel involves multiple flight segments, and given the possibility of luggage loss during air transit-which can be difficult to recover once it occurs-we hereby provide the following important guidelines to protect your interests and ensure a smoother journey:

1.Carry-On Recommendations:
It is strongly advised that you keep valuable items (e.g., jewelry, electronics, important documents, etc.) and special medications in your carry-on luggage. Do not check them in.
If you require daily liquid medication for medical reasons, please obtain a medical certificate from a hospital in advance to facilitate security checks.

2.Luggage Loss Handling:
In the unfortunate event of lost luggage, our agency will actively assist you in reporting the loss and liaising with the carrier airline to locate your belongings. If your flight ticket was booked through us, we will also assist you in filing a claim with the airline. Please note, however, that according to relevant regulations and agreements, our role is limited to assistance, and we do not assume compensation liability for lost luggage.

3.Additional Insurance Advice:
If you have concerns about the coverage limit of the basic travel insurance, you may consider purchasing supplemental high-coverage travel insurance at your own discretion to protect against potential risks.

Room Sharing Regulations

I. Room Sharing Policy for Individual Travelers
When signing up individually, a single room supplement is generally required. If you wish to share a room with another guest on the same tour, please clearly indicate your request for room sharing during registration. We will make every effort to arrange accordingly.

Please note that as we operate group tours with independent travelers, we cannot guarantee in advance the sleeping habits of your potential roommate (e.g., snoring, teeth grinding, talking in sleep, sleeping with lights on, drinking alcohol in the room, etc.). If any of these issues may affect your rest and consequently your overall travel experience, we strongly recommend that individual travelers who are sensitive to such conditions or have special sleep habits themselves pay the single room supplement for a private room.

If you agree to room sharing but later require a single room during the trip, you must negotiate directly with the hotel overseas and pay the full cost of the room in cash or by card. Please note that this requires payment for the entire room, not just half of the room rate. Thank you for your understanding.

II. Single Room Supplement Rules
For guests requesting room sharing during registration, we will strictly follow the order of submission of documents or payment of deposits - applying a“first-come,

first-served”principle to match roommates and ensure fairness. If, after the registration

deadline, a “natural single room” situation occurs (i.e., no same-gender roommate is available) not due to your own will, the following policy applies:

1. Assume Single Room Supplement: The last guest in the room-sharing queue (based on document submission or deposit payment time) will be required to pay the single room supplement.

2. Tour Date or Itinerary Adjustments
If you choose to postpone your trip to the next available tour date, the price will remain the same as originally booked. Additionally, you will enjoy the benefit of “priority roommate matching” for the new tour-we will prioritize matching you with a suitable roommate.

Alternatively, if you prefer to switch to another suitable itinerary, you will also be eligible for “priority roommate matching”, and we will assist you in arranging a shared accommodation partner.
