Kuanzhai Alley is a famous historical and cultural district in Chengdu. Its history can be traced back to the 57th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1718 AD). It consists of three old streets—Kuan Alley, Zhai Alley, and Jing Alley—and the traditional courtyard houses (siheyuan) among them, encompassing about 70 traditional courtyards over an area of approximately 32 hectares.

The architecture here is a typical fusion of northern hutong culture and western Sichuan residential courtyards. The grey-brick courtyards and the fishbone-shaped street layout combine northern regularity with western Sichuan liveliness. Kuan Alley is the "Leisurely Life" zone, where you can experience local customs and folk culture. Zhai Alley focuses on "Slow Life," with many cafes and art spaces. Jing Alley is a microcosm of Chengdu's folk culture and has been designated as a "Characteristic Commercial Pedestrian Street of China." In 2022, it was selected as one of the first national-level tourist resorts.

It has been approved by UNESCO as a "World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site." The statue is a seated figure of Maitreya Buddha and represents a masterpiece of Tang Dynasty cliff sculpture art. The carving of the Leshan Giant Buddha began in the Tang Dynasty and took 90 years to complete through the efforts of three generations of craftsmen. The statue is approximately 70 meters tall, a colossal stone carving of the seated Maitreya Buddha. Viewing the tall and majestic Leshan Giant Buddha inspires awe at how the ancients could create such an exquisite masterpiece without modern large-scale tools.

Mount Emei(170km2.5h)Chengdu

Transport:
Breakfast: At hotel
Lunch:Not include
Dinner:Not include
Accommodation: Hao Ke Hotel Chengdu or similar
Itinerary:

After breakfast at the hotel, ascend Mount Emei to admire the sea of clouds from the Golden Summit, listen to the Zen murmurs of the valley streams, and in a single day, take in the spiritual beauty of this Buddhist mountain landscape. After the visit, return by vehicle to Chengdu and check in at the hotel.

Mount Emei
One of the Four Sacred Buddhist Mountains of China, it is the bodhimanda of Samantabhadra (Puxian) Bodhisattva and possesses profound Buddhist cultural heritage. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for both its cultural and natural significance, and is renowned for its elegant natural scenery and deep cultural. The main peak, Wanfo Ding (Ten Thousand Buddha Summit), has an elevation of 3,099 meters. The mountain range extends approximately 23 kilometers from north to south, covering a total area of about 154 square kilometers. Mount Emei is famous for its magnificent natural landscapes, boasting rich vegetation and diverse geological features, including erosional landforms, depositional landforms, karst landforms, and glacial landforms. The mountain features numerous peculiar peaks, flying waterfalls, seas of clouds, and other natural scenery, attracting a large number of pilgrims and tourists every year.

Golden Summit (Mount Emei)
This is the mountaintop of Mount Emei. The golden statue of the Ten-direction Samantabhadra Bodhisattva on the Golden Summit is a must-visit for many tourists coming to Mount Emei. At an altitude of 3,079 meters, besides the 48-meter-tall bronze Ten-direction Samantabhadra statue, the Golden Summit also hosts a Huayan Temple for prayers. The golden Ten-direction Samantabhadra statue on the Golden Summit is one of the tallest golden Buddha statues in the world and also represents the first artistic representation of Samantabhadra Bodhisattva facing all ten directions. Behind the Samantabhadra statue, the Huayan Temple consists of three main halls. The third hall is the Samantabhadra Hall, also known as the Golden Hall or the "Golden Summit," and is the highest hall on Mount Emei.

Qingyin Pavilion
An important temple on Mount Emei, it was built during the reign of Emperor Xizong of the Tang Dynasty by the Chan Master Huitong. The temple enshrines statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, Manjusri (Wenshu) Bodhisattva, Samantabhadra (Puxian) Bodhisattva, and others. The famous scenic spot "Shuangqiao Qingyin" (Clear Sounds of Twin Bridges) is located here, where two stone bridges fly across, and clear river water flows beneath them. This is also an excellent photo spot on the mountain. The "Shuangqiao Qingyin" is right beside Qingyin Pavilion. Below Qingyin Pavilion, there is the Shuangfei (Twin Flights) Pavilion, with a small bridge on each side of the pavilion, under which the sound of rushing water can be heard. Below the pavilion, there is a stone stele inscribed with the words: "Eternal Clear Sounds."

Day 7

ChengduChongqing:Yangtze River Cableway-Danzi Stone Old Street-Liziba Light Rail Through Building-Shibati Traditional Style Area-Hongyadong Folk Custom

Transport:
Breakfast:At hotel
Lunch:Not included
Dinner:Not included
Accommodation: Chongqing Great World Junting Hotel (Jiefang Monument Hongya Cave Branch)or similar
Itinerary:

Reference Train:

Chengdu East - Chongqing West G331 08:29-10:33 or G2883 08:37-09:53

After breakfast at the hotel, take the high-speed rail to Chongqing. Upon arrival, experience the city's unique charm by riding the Yangtze River Cableway for a panoramic view of the two rivers, strolling through Danzi Stone Old Street to savor its blend of old and new, witnessing the wonder of the Liziba Light Rail passing through a building, exploring the traditional atmosphere of the Shibati Traditional Style Area, and visiting the spectacular stilted houses at the Hongyadong Folk Custom Area, fully immersing in the distinct character of Bayu culture.

Yangtze River Cableway
Taking the approximately one-kilometer-long Yangtze River Cableway is an excellent way to get a close aerial view of Chongqing. The cableway runs from Xinhua Road in Yuzhong District in the north to Shangxin Street in Nan'an District in the south, connecting the bustling commercial Yuzhong District with the scenic, mountainous Nan'an District. It is a must-visit for many tourists to experience Chongqing's charm. Boarding the cable car and gliding across the river, you can see the nearby forest of skyscrapers, the Yangtze River, and the landscapes of the Jiangbei and Nan'an districts.

Danzi Stone Old Street
Chongqing's first historical and cultural district centered on "Port Opening Culture," it skillfully integrates a century of port history with the city's distinctive mountainous features, offering a unique sightseeing experience of "facing the river, with the city at your back." Originally a water and land terminal in the late Qing and early Republican periods, it was renovated and officially opened in 2018. Guided by the concept of "Old Street, New Delights," it presents a core landscape layout of "one street, two ports, four courtyards, and ten scenic spots."

Liziba Light Rail Through Building
In Chongqing's three-dimensional and magical cityscape, the Liziba Light Rail Station, with its marvel of "passing through a building," has become a symbol of the perfect integration of modern engineering and the mountainous terrain. The station and building employ a unique "separated station and bridge" design, where the train tracks pass through between the 6th and 8th floors, while floors 1-5 and 9-19 are regular residential apartments. This spatial magic of "ascending to heaven and descending to earth" allows passengers to complete a vertical journey from underground to above the clouds and back to ground level in just 40 seconds. It is no longer just a mode of transport but has become a symbol of the mountain city's spirit: carving paths on steep slopes, creating possibilities in narrow spaces, and writing a romance unique to this city with steel and concrete.

Shibati Traditional Style Area
Its history can be traced back to the Three Kingdoms period, making it one of the oldest urban neighborhoods in the area. As the birthplace of Chongqing's "Mother City Culture," it was the ancient city's strategic stronghold and economic center. Due to the mountainous terrain, the Yuzhong Peninsula is divided into Upper and Lower City. Shibati defined the Lower City, while Jiefangbei represents the Upper City. Together, they formed the prototype of mountainous Chongqing, thus earning the area the title "Microcosm of Old Chongqing's History and Culture."

Hongyadong Folk Custom Area
This is a great place to wander through old mountain city streets, enjoy the scenery of the two rivers, and sample local cuisine. It primarily features stilted houses characteristic of traditional Bayu architecture, built along the mountainside and river. The area consists of four parts: the Zhiyanhe Bar Street, Tiancheng Alley Bayu Customs Street, the Shengban Food Street, and the Exotic City Balcony. When illuminated at night, it forms a spectacular mountain city scene.

Optional Activity: Two Rivers Night Cruise: $25 per person
You haven't truly been to Chongqing without seeing its nightscape. The Two Rivers Night Cruise ingeniously combines Chongqing's landscape with its world-famous night views. On the cruise ship, admire Chongqing's illuminated skyline. Feel the gentle river breeze and gaze at the vibrant lights of the Changbin and Jiabin Roads reflecting brilliantly on the water. The varying heights of buildings along the river create a captivating, layered effect under the lights. Daytime cruise schedules are now also available, allowing you to appreciate not only the night views but also Chongqing's distinctive landmarks by day.

Day 8

Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street-Daijia Lane-Kuixing Tower-Chongqing Mountain City Trail-Ciqikou Ancient Town-Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street

Transport:
Breakfast:At hotel
Lunch: Not included
Dinner: Not included
Accommodation: Chongqing Great World Junting Hotel (Jiefang Monument Hongya Cave Branch)or similar
Itinerary:

After breakfast at the hotel, wander through Chongqing. Stroll through the bustling Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, explore the gentle riverside breeze at Daijia Lane, ascend the Kuixing Tower for a panoramic view of the mountainous city's layers, walk the Mountain City Trail to touch the texture of old Chongqing, browse Ciqikou Ancient Town to take in the aroma of tea, and visit Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street to embrace urban trends. Every step offers a new scene, capturing the myriad charms of Bayu culture.

Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street
Jiefangbei is both a monument and a street—the monument stands because of the street, and the street thrives because of the monument. It was once rightfully known as Chongqing's "Number One Street." In 1997, after Chongqing became a municipality directly under the central government, Jiefangbei Commercial Street was converted into a pedestrian street. It is now home to numerous time-honored stores carrying the memories of generations of Chongqing residents, as well as many internationally renowned brands, making it a "Nationally Designated Model Pedestrian Street."

Daijia Lane
Perched on a cliff, covering 45 mu, and adjacent to the Hongyadong scenic area and the Jiefangbei business district, Daijia Lane was initially built in the fourth year of the Hongwu era during the Ming Dynasty. In the second year of the Kangxi era, it earned its name as many Dai families resided here. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it flourished with merchants gathering due to the establishment of a salt wharf. Today, preserved as an ancient Chongqing lane, it is praised as a living fossil of Bayu culture.

Kuixing Tower
Also known as Kuixing Pavilion, it was built in honor of the deity Kuixing, who was believed to govern the rise and fall of literary fortunes in the minds of Confucian scholars. The main hall houses a statue of Kuixing, where scholars would worship, praying for success in the imperial examinations. The Kuixing Tower embodies a strong Chinese national style and local cultural characteristics, representing a part of China's splendid cultural heritage.

Chongqing Mountain City Trail
As Chongqing is a mountain city, its Mountain City Trails are the most characteristic pedestrian paths. Unlike the small streets and alleys in most cities, these trails feature many steps and slopes. The most typical is the Chongqing Third Trail. Located on the southern slope of the Yuzhong Peninsula, it runs from north to south, passing by the former site of the Nationalist Government's Legislative and Judicial Yuan, the Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, the Bodhi Vajra Pagoda, the Former Site of the French Ren'ai Church, and the overhanging plank walkway, with a total length of 1,748 meters.

Ciqikou Ancient Town
Recognized as one of China's first nationally designated historical and cultural blocks, Ciqikou Ancient Town was initially built during the Xianping era of Emperor Zhenzong of the Song Dynasty (998-1003 AD). Walking on the bluestone-paved roads of Ciqikou, the shops on both sides are mostly wooden structures, with upturned eaves and carved window lattices exuding a rustic charm.

Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street
One of Chongqing's five major business districts, it is rated as a 4A-level tourist attraction. Guanyinqiao Pedestrian Street offers a comprehensive range of high-end brands. The large-scale landscape structure "Guanyin Bridge" in the square, made from 800 cubic meters and over 1,800 tons of artistically carved granite, is the landmark of the Guanyinqiao Commercial and Trade Center.

1.120 days or more before departure: Full refund.

2.90–119 days before departure: 5% of the tour fee as service charge + any non-refundable expenses incurred.

3.60–89 days before departure: 10% of the tour fee as service charge+ any non-refundable expenses incurred.

4.Within 59 days before departure (inclusive): No refund. Passenger replacement is permitted, with a 5% service fee.

Important Note: It is recommended that you purchase relevant travel insurance at the time of booking. If you cancel the trip for personal reasons, you may apply for compensation from the insurance company in accordance with the policy terms.

Remarks:

(1) The cancellation policy does not apply to airline tickets or cruise itineraries (please refer to the policies of the airline and cruise line).

(2) Failure to arrive on time on the day of departure date will be considered a voluntary cancellation, and the paid tour fare will not be refunded.

(3) Additional hotel bookings or services are subject to the hotel’s cancellation policy.

(4) If you withdraw from the tour or are unable to participate in any part of the itinerary for personal reasons (such as lack of travel documents, visa issues, lateness, illness, accident, etc.), the paid tour fare will not be refunded, nor will compensation be provided in the form of alternative services.

 2. In the event of force majeure circumstances such as adverse weather, war, strikes, etc., which make it impossible to proceed with the tour, we will prioritize the safety of our guests and their property, and reserve the right to cancel or adjust part or all of the itinerary. We shall not bear any direct or indirect liability arising from force majeure, and the paid tour fare will not be refunded.

Supplementary Charges:

(1) In the event of airline-imposed pricing adjustments, please pay the fare difference as required. If the airfare is part of a group ticket, it may not be changed, transferred, or refunded.

(2) If the destination country adjusts relevant fees, or if there are changes to items not included in the itinerary or other related costs, please pay the difference as required.

Strongly Recommended: Travel insurance is recommended for your trip. Unexpected events such as emergencies, adverse weather, natural disasters, war-related itinerary changes, personal or family health issues, flight delays or cancellations, strikes, baggage loss, cruise itinerary changes or cancellations, health issues, personal injury, property loss or damage, etc., may impact your travel plans. In the event of an emergency, the tour operator will make every effort to assist, but shall not bear legal liability or claim responsibility. Please choose suitable insurance to protect your travel and health/medical expenses.

We especially recommend purchasing adequate travel insurance to cover the following risks:

•  Trip cancellation/interruption

•  Emergency medical and evacuation

•  Flight delay

•  Baggage loss/delay

Below are some insurance channels commonly used by our customers for your reference:

1.  World Nomads: www.worldnomads.com

2.  https://www.travelinsurance.com/

3.  Allianz: www.allianztravelinsurance.com

You may also purchase insurance from an insurer you are familiar with.

If you do not purchase insurance, we shall not bear compensation liability for losses resulting from unexpected situations.

Itinerary Notes

Special Notes:

1.The sequence of the itinerary, attractions, flights, and accommodation locations may be subject to temporary changes, modifications, or substitutions. The final itinerary will be confirmed by our company before departure.

2.Our company reserves the right to modify the itinerary and add additional charges due to factors such as airlines, visa issues, government regulations, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

3.The flight numbers and times listed in the itinerary are for reference only and may be reasonably adjusted according to actual conditions.

Travel Instructions

① All participants in the tour group must assemble and depart on time. Please arrive at the pick-up location 15 minutes in advance. Our company's tour bus will not wait for latecomers. If you fail to join the group at the agreed time and location, or are unable to catch up en route, it will be considered as an automatic waiver of the trip, and no refunds will be given.

② The pick-up and drop-off times indicated in the tour notification are estimated. The specific locations for boarding and alighting will be confirmed by our company. (In case of traffic conditions or other special circumstances that prevent our bus from arriving at the pick-up location on time or if there is a temporary change in schedule, our company will notify you promptly. Please wait patiently.)

③ There are three types of buses: large buses, minibuses, and 9-seater vans. Generally, large buses have dedicated luggage compartments for storing baggage, while minibuses and 9-seater vans have relatively smaller spaces for luggage storage. Given the limited space in the bus compartments, we recommend that you travel with as little luggage as possible. Our company will arrange the appropriate vehicle based on the final group size to ensure that each person has a seat.

④ To avoid excessive congestion at tourist attractions, in most cities, the parking spots for tour buses are located farther away from the attractions. Drivers are not allowed to park indiscriminately, as violations will result in hefty fines. Therefore, the boarding and alighting locations may be a certain distance from the attractions. We ask for the understanding of all group members.

Safety Tips for Traveling by Tour Bus:

① Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the bus.

② Do not carry any prohibited items.

③ Do not tamper with any objects on the bus to avoid unnecessary damage.

④ During temporary stops, please follow the arrangements of the tour guide and do not wander off.

⑤ When getting off the bus for sightseeing, dining, or shopping, please make sure to close the bus windows and take your valuables with you. The travel agency will not be responsible for any loss or theft.

⑥ Given the long travel time and heavy load on the vehicle, if the bus breaks down and affects the itinerary, the travel agency will take prompt remedial measures. Please cooperate fully.

Important Notes and Safety Risk Warnings

I. Important Notes for Tour Registration

1. Passport Validity: Before joining an overseas tour, ensure your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates. If your travel is disrupted due to expired or invalid documents (e.g., visa denials, entry/exit rejections), all resulting losses will be borne solely by yourself.

2. Visa & Entry Requirements: Visa issuance and entry approval are subject to the administrative or sovereign authority of relevant institutions. You must provide truthful information, and the travel agency will assist with procedures. However, delays or denials due to your failure to submit required materials, incomplete documentation, or personal circumstances will be your responsibility.

3. Visa Documentation Updates: Visa requirements for Europe, America, Asia, etc., are frequently updated by embassies/consulates. The travel agency will notify you to supplement materials promptly. Delays or rejections caused by incomplete, late, or flawed submissions will result in losses borne by you.

4. Border Control Compliance: Even with a valid visa, entry/exit approval depends on immigration authorities. If denied entry/exit due to personal reasons (e.g., incomplete documentation), all losses are your responsibility.

II. Health & Activity Risk Warnings

1. Health Disclosure: Disclose your health status and medical history during registration. The agency may recommend suitable tours and advise medical checkups. If you insist on joining despite health risks, the agency assumes you have consulted a doctor and are fit to travel.

Seniors aged 65+ and minors require family/parental accompaniment.

The agency may require specific travel insurance and reserves the right to deny registration if accompaniment is lacking.

2.Emergency Assistance: In emergencies (e.g., safety threats, medical crises), the agency, local authorities, or embassies may assist, but costs (e.g., medical fees, evacuation) are your responsibility. Contact your tour leader, agency, or local institutions immediately.

3.Medical Emergencies: The agency will arrange urgent medical care but cannot guarantee access to specific hospitals. Treatment costs are your responsibility.

4.Care Limitations: Tour leaders cannot abandon the group to provide prolonged medical support. If full-time care is needed, the agency can assist in arranging visits by family (at your expense). Provide emergency contacts in advance.

5.Family Visits: If family must travel to assist you abroad, the agency will help coordinate but cannot guarantee discounted travel rates. All costs (flights, hotels) are your responsibility.

6.The travel agency particularly reminds tourists with the following conditions: those with a history of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, mental illnesses, asthma, cervical spondylosis, and other recurring diseases not mentioned above. This also includes healthy individuals aged 55 and above, as well as pregnant women. Please avoid participating in the following activities: Diving, mountaineering, rafting, skiing, horseback riding, skydiving, hot air ballooning, helicopter rides, desert safaris, zip-lining, amusement park rides, or close wildlife encounters.

We usually do not include activities that are dangerous or highly stimulating in the itinerary. If you find that any item may cause harm to your body, please be sure to inform the team leader or tour guide in advance. We will make appropriate arrangements.

III. Personal Property & Shopping Guidelines

1. Safeguard Belongings: Keep valuables secure. Do not leave items unattended in luggage, buses, or hotel rooms. The agency will assist in reporting thefts but cannot recover losses or compensate for damages.

2. Tax Refunds: Retain tax refund forms. Guides may assist with documentation, but refund approval depends on local policies. The agency cannot guarantee successful refunds.

3. Transaction Fees: Bank charges for card payments are non-refundable. Returned purchases may incur additional fees at your expense.

IV. Important Notice Regarding Luggage for Cross-Border Travel Products

Given that cross-border travel involves multiple flight segments, and given the possibility of luggage loss during air transit-which can be difficult to recover once it occurs-we hereby provide the following important guidelines to protect your interests and ensure a smoother journey:

1.Carry-On Recommendations:

It is strongly advised that you keep valuable items (e.g., jewelry, electronics, important documents, etc.) and special medications in your carry-on luggage. Do not check them in.

If you require daily liquid medication for medical reasons, please obtain a medical certificate from a hospital in advance to facilitate security checks.

2.Luggage Loss Handling:

In the unfortunate event of lost luggage, our agency will actively assist you in reporting the loss and liaising with the carrier airline to locate your belongings. If your flight ticket was booked through us, we will also assist you in filing a claim with the airline. Please note, however, that according to relevant regulations and agreements, our role is limited to assistance, and we do not assume compensation liability for lost luggage.

3.Additional Insurance Advice:

If you have concerns about the coverage limit of the basic travel insurance, you may consider purchasing supplemental high-coverage travel insurance at your own discretion to protect against potential risks.

Room Sharing Regulations

I. Room Sharing Policy for Individual Travelers

When signing up individually, a single room supplement is generally required. If you wish to share a room with another guest on the same tour, please clearly indicate your request for room sharing during registration. We will make every effort to arrange accordingly.

Please note that as we operate group tours with independent travelers, we cannot guarantee in advance the sleeping habits of your potential roommate (e.g., snoring, teeth grinding, talking in sleep, sleeping with lights on, drinking alcohol in the room, etc.). If any of these issues may affect your rest and consequently your overall travel experience, we strongly recommend that individual travelers who are sensitive to such conditions or have special sleep habits themselves pay the single room supplement for a private room.

If you agree to room sharing but later require a single room during the trip, you must negotiate directly with the hotel overseas and pay the full cost of the room in cash or by card. Please note that this requires payment for the entire room, not just half of the room rate. Thank you for your understanding.

II. Single Room Supplement Rules

For guests requesting room sharing during registration, we will strictly follow the order of submission of documents or payment of deposits - applying a“first-come,

first-served”principle to match roommates and ensure fairness. If, after the registration

deadline, a “natural single room” situation occurs (i.e., no same-gender roommate is available) not due to your own will, the following policy applies:

1.Assume Single Room Supplement: The last guest in the room-sharing queue (based on document submission or deposit payment time) will be required to pay the single room supplement.

2.Tour Date or Itinerary Adjustments

If you choose to postpone your trip to the next available tour date, the price will remain the same as originally booked. Additionally, you will enjoy the benefit of “priority roommate matching” for the new tour-we will prioritize matching you with a suitable roommate.

Alternatively, if you prefer to switch to another suitable itinerary, you will also be eligible for “priority roommate matching”, and we will assist you in arranging a shared accommodation partner.

Guidelines for Completing the "Tourist Feedback Form"

The "Tourist Feedback Form" serves as a crucial basis for our travel agency in addressing any complaints. When filling out the form, please adhere strictly to the principles of formality, objectivity, and truthfulness. In the absence of any entries, we will assume that you have no complaints regarding the trip.

I hereby confirm that I have carefully read and fully understood all the above content. I am aware of the specific meanings of each clause and hereby make my choice voluntarily based on my actual situation.

My signature indicates that I fully agree to all the terms and conditions and willingly accept and comply with all arrangements.
